The match started off as Peacehaven are now learning that every team is coming out from the start at full speed. Sittingbourne took the early advntage with the accomplished looking beating Di Bernado low down just inside the post.
Josh Jones was able to draw Peacehaven level with a well taken goal after 31 minutes to send both sides in level at half time.
The second half was wear it all happened, well near the end anyway. Sittingbourne were again able to take the advantage through Ryan Golding and then seal the point on the 88th point through Bryan Bell, almost.
Sittingbourne's joy was short lived as Peacehaven wouldn't give up. Firstly Jamie Brotherton bundled the ball into the net after a goal mouth scramble and then there was a repeat of the 5-5 moment against Horsham.
With nothing to loose by conceding another goal Peacehaven pressed and won a corner deep into injury time. Di Bernado swapped goalkeeping for striking which seemed to unnerve the Sittingbourne defence and the resulting ball found McLaughlins head whos nod went in off the underside of the bar.
Another incredible result and no one can say Peacehaven aren't providing value for money. Next up Redhill visit Piddinghoe Avenue in the league and on Wednesday 26th we visit Eastbourne Town in the QF of the Sussex Senior Cup.
Remarkable Peacehaven still remain unbeaten since September, will we make it to March? Come on the free town bus on Saturday and find out....
