Peacehaven went in to this game today with a number of players out through illness. The weather was really warm at the kick off and it was an even game for the first few minutes. In the 9th minute Redhill's Ryan Briggs scored for Redhill to take the lead.
As 16 minutes came up on the clock Peacehaven were pushing forward. Peacehaven's Ashley Rees crossed the ball to Rob O’Toole who fired it in to the back of the net. With Peacehaven continuing to push forward the ball went to Peacehaven's Brad Murray who doubled the score to put Haven ahead.
Redhill had a couple of chances to get back in the game but with 34 minutes of the first half gone Ashley Rees was brought down in the box and is given a penalty. Carl dunk scores from the spot for the second successive week. Half time arrived with an exciting 45 minutes leaving Peacehaven 3-1 to the good.
At the start of the second half Peacehaven carried on with their good performance from the first half. Redhill had some chances to get back in the game but couldn’t convert. Peacehaven carried on pushing forward and were showing they were the better side.
In the 79th minute peacehaven get the ball up the field where Rob O’Toole was waiting to the control of the ball and he scored his second goal of the game.
