Peacehaven were generally on top for most of the game attacking at will but Hassocks defence stood firm. Peacehaven scored first after 10 minutes with Craig Richards nodding in from a corner. The score remained 1-0 until half time.
Between the 1st and 2nd goal Peacehaven scored a further three times but all goals were then disallowed for various reasons. Hassocks keeper was having a good evening as he made several good saves to keep the score down.
Peacehaven made a few substitutions introducing Hammond and Wade to change things around and the fresh legs gave some extra attacking options.
Hassocks came back in for the last 5 minutes with only a goal to but a breakaway from Jamie Brotherton led to a foul in the box and he scored the penalty to seal our place in the next round.
The next round will be drawn on Tuesday 10th live on Twitter.
