LEAGUE football returns to The Sports Park on Saturday when Pagham are the visitors.

Peacehaven will be buoyed by their recent good run and will go into Saturday’s game full of confidence. Meanwhile the visitors, who traditionally are one of the top sides in the league, have had a difficult start to their league campaign.

They are currently in 19th place in the league with five points from their opening nine games.

However, don’t be fooled by this position as The lions’ cup form has been good. On Tuesday they defeated Little Common 2-0 in the Sussex Senior Cup. And a couple of weeks ago they progressed to the third round of the RUR Cup when they defeated Hassocks away 3-0.

And their league form is also improving as shown when they picked up a good point against Langney Wanderers last Saturday. Expect a tightly contested game on Saturday.

Last season, Peacehaven lost away at Pagham 4-1 in the FA Vase and in the league drew 1-1 whilst they lost 3-2 at home in the opening game of last season.

The game kicks-off at 3pm and admission is £7 for adults, £5 for over 65s and under 18s get in for free. The clubhouse and snack bar will be open.

Watch Brighton & Hove Albion V Spurs LIVE
THE ALBION take on Spurs at the Amex at 12.30pm on Saturday and you can watch all the action live courtesy of BT Sports in the clubhouse before Peacehaven kick-off against Pagham.

With Brighton searching for just their second win of the season and Spurs coming off the back of their record 7-2 thumping at home to Bayern Munich in midweek, this game looks tantalising. You can enjoy all the action on the big screen on Saturday.

Arrive before 1pm and you'll get free admission too.
